I would like to describe him as a great craftsman both in literal and metaphorical manner. He helped me to develop not onlymy researching skills but also my communication, humanitarian as well as social skills. Whatever I am now, all credit goes to Prof. Bhattacharya.
The amalgamation of professionalism and caring attitude of Prof. Bhattacharya has created an open, friendly environment in hislab which is very conducive for exploratory research.
As a consequence, even being in a big research group, we, the students, have always been very good friends to each other.
Till today I cherish those gatherings, and particularly the informal, round-table discussions we used to have on various topics.
A great teacher and a reservoir of knowledge is how I would like to describe him. Never been acquainted with a person of such caliber as of Prof. Bhaskar Bhattacharya.
